Black Stars midfielder Mohammed Kudus has been named the Footballer of the Year at the 2023 Ghana Football Awards.
The event, which was held at the Accra International Conference Centre saw the Ajax star swoop the top award of the night on Sunday, June 25.
The 22-year-old beat competition from Genk's Joseph Paintsil and RC Lens' Salis Abdul Samed to win the top prize at the fifth edition of the Ghana Football Awards.
Kudus was directly involved in 27 goals for club and country, scoring 20 goals and assisting seven across all competitions.
He takes over from Alexander Djiku who won the award last during the fourth edition of the annual awards ceremony.
