Budding singer, Amalina claims she has not received any criticism from anyone concerning her use of marijuana in her songs.
In an interview with Andy Dosty on Daybreak Hitz, the singer’s attention was called to the type of lyrics she uses in her music.
"No one has criticised my lyrics on marijuana. I think people like my vibe about marijuana, so I don’t get that," she exclaimed.
In one of her songs titled ‘We Party,’ marijuana jargon was dominant throughout the song.
The singer who is currently signed on to JR Music claims her lyrics are just a true reflection of happenings in society.
She believes that her lyrics do not affect her personal life as she claims that she does not smoke the substance.
According to her, cannabis is part of life, and she sees herself as a creative whose music is influenced by happenings in her society.
"As a musician, I create a certain perspective in my mind. It's just like a movie, and I am a director of that movie, so the kind of concept I want is what I want people to see out there. So if you ask me why I sing about Ganja, I would say Ganja is the movie I am creating," she said.
