Parents in the Nkwanta South municipality of the Oti Region have welcome the decision of the Education Service to reopen schools after several weeks of closure due to inter-tribal conflict in the area.

Over 30 public schools were forced to temporarily close down in November 2023 after the area witnessed series of conflicts.
