The Ghana Prisons Service has officially launched its transformative “Think Prison 360 Degrees” initiative in Koforidua, Eastern Region, aimed at improving prison welfare, promoting industrialisation, and fostering sustainable development within the correctional system.
The launch, held on 12 December 2025, was led by the Director-General of Prisons, Mrs Patience Baffoe-Bonnie (Esq.), and brought together representatives from all seven prison stations in the region, alongside officials from sister security agencies.
