A destructive fire tore through the busy Zongo Lane near Rawlings Park in the Greater Accra Region, ravaging several shops and their contents.
Initial reports suggest the fire started in a small shop and quickly spread to nearby stores, filling the sky with thick black smoke.

Firefighters responded swiftly and, after a prolonged battle, managed to contain the flames.
As the smoke dissipated, the extent of the damage became evident, with numerous shops and their merchandise, including clothing and electronics, completely destroyed.
The cause of the fire remains unknown, as the Ghana National Fire Service continues its investigation.
