Sporting Club Accra has emerged as champions in the 2024 edition of the SBE Cup after a comfortable 2-0 victory over Adabraka Elders Football Club in the finals.
This year’s edition, the second of its kind, kicked off on Monday, October 13, and wrapped up on Tuesday, October 14, 2024, offering an exciting display of footballing skill and fierce competition.
The tournament which was hosted at the Tuba Astroturf Park in Accra, featured six teams battling for the top prize. Sporting Club Accra’s dominant performances throughout the competition culminated in their comfortable 2-0 win over Adabraka Elders in the final.
Scouts and agents from SBE Management, including Philipp Degen and Daniel Boifio Junior, were highly impressed by the technical ability, tactical awareness, and passion shown by the young players.
Also in attendance were the Swiss ambassador, Simon Giger and the son of former President of Ghana, John Mahama, Sharaf Mahama.

The Swiss ambassador's presence added prestige to the event, reflecting the importance of fostering international football ties. Switzerland, with its rich football tradition, offers an ideal opportunity for young Ghanaian talent to grow.

SBE Management (Organizers) in partnership with Empire Sports Agency, the SBE Cup aims to highlight the vast football talent in Ghana while giving players a platform to attract interest from scouts and agents. The tournament lived up to expectations, providing a stage for future stars to emerge.
The success of the SBE Cup has sent ripples throughout Ghana’s football scene, underscoring the country’s potential to develop elite footballers. With opportunities for trials in Europe on the horizon, the future looks bright for some of these promising young players.
