English Premier League newboys Brighton & Hove Albion have reached an agreement to sign in-form Ghana striker Raphael Dwamena.

After weeks of speculation, Brighton have officially agreed with Swiss side FC Zurich for the permanent transfer of Dwamena, subject to work permit and international clearance.

The 21-year-old striker has also agreed personal terms with the club and is now awaiting clearance to travel to the UK for his medical.

Dwamena bagged 14 goals in total for Zurich since joining from Austrian club Lustenau, where he notched an impressive 20 strikes. His 12 goals last season was key as Zurich secured qualification to the topflight.

On international level, Dwamena has two goals for the senior national team, with both coming against Ethiopia on his debut in June.

Here's what to expect from Dwamena
