The Manager of Notable E-Solutions, Peter Kwame Kwadon, an agent for MTN Mobile Money (MoMo) has been rewarded with a brand-new Hyundai Santafe” after he was adjudged the Overall Best Agent.
At the same ceremony in 2018, he received the second prize, a motorbike bike, however, his consistency and hard work won him the ultimate prize this year.
An overwhelmed Peter Kwadon expressed his deepest appreciation to MTN for encouraging the agents to give out their best.
“Initially I was into the sale of phone cards and printing, but when I realised MoMo was very profitable, I quit all other businesses to dedicate my entire time to it and I have never regretted it,” he said.
He expressed gratitude to his customers, as he could have not been honoured without their corporation.
Also, MTN surprised Rita Tetteh, the businesswoman who played a key role in its first MoMo television advert, with a two-bedroom apartment.
She played a convincing role in the advert when MoMo was introduced in 2009 to attract hundreds of customers to believe in the service and sign onto it.
Madam Tetteh expressed gratitude to MTN for supporting her since she partnered them.
“I thank MTN, its management, and staff and I say may God bless them to continue to grow. I never expected this,” she said.
On his part, the General Manager of MTN Mobile Money Services advised the agents to support customers to do transactions on their own.
“Try to desist from loading wallets for customers when they are far from you because it is a bad practice and could cause a lot of trouble.”
He said customers should be treated like kings and queens’ because they had the power to make or unmake a business.
Mr Hini said MTN would get ready an insurance policy for its MoMo agents next year to enable them to work in comfort.
“However, it doesn’t mean you should expose yourselves to risk by working late at secluded areas. You need to close early if you work at an unsafe place,” he advised.
