Veteran actress Dzifa Gomashie has won the fight to represent Ketu South in the 8th parliament of Ghana.
The actress competing under the ticket of the NDC won the parliamentary elections after polling 84,664 votes.
Her closest contender the NPP's David Quarshie polled 14,904 votes.

Madam Gomashie is the only Creative Arts person who won her parliamentary seat.
Actor John Dumelo lost the chance to represent Ayawaso West Wuogon.
