Former Chief Executive of the Volta River Authority (VRA), Dr Charles Wereko-Brobby, has lashed out at the government for poorly communicating key economic policy messages to the citizenry.
The Chief Policy Analyst at the Ghana Institute of Public Policy Options (GIPPO) rebuked the government for taking delight in throwing macro and micro figures loosely about without recourse to their effects on citizens.
He said government communicators throw macroeconomic figures about just to tout government’s achievements.
His comments during an exclusive interview with JoyNews, come ahead of the 4th Baah-Wiredu Memorial Lectures scheduled for Thursday, October 31, 2019.
