Ghana's Black Queens forward Josephine Bonsu is backing her teammates to turn the "pressure" of playing in the quarter-finals into "motivation" at the ongoing Women's Africa Cup of Nations.
Ghana face Algeria at the Stade de Berkane on July 19, hoping a win will secure a place in the semi-finals for the first time since 2016.
After a slow start to the continental event, the Queens turned the tide with a 4-1 win over Tanzania in their final group match to advance to the knockout stages.
"We all know [there is] pressure because it's the quarter-finals; it's only one game," Josephine said during the pre-match conference.
"But we have to turn the pressure into motivation. Who doesn't want to play the biggest tournament in Africa and the next stage is the semi-finals.
"I just enjoy every moment."
Ghana will hold their last training session on Friday ahead of the highly anticipated game on Saturday.
