If you have never been to Joy FM’s Family Party in the Park, traditionally held on 26th December at the Aburi Botanical Gardens, this is the year to experience it.
For the regular patrons, there is no reason for going on a holiday this year. The vibe gets even better.
The much loved Family Party in the Park promises a full day of fun, music, and family bonding during the Christmas season.
One key reason to attend this year’s event is the opportunity it offers families, friends, and colleagues to relax, connect, and be entertained in a lively outdoor setting that celebrates togetherness and Ghanaian culture.
The event also provides access to a range of activities that would usually come at extra cost if organised separately. Families can look forward to traditional games, cooking contests, sack races, dancing competitions, and treasure hunts, all designed to create shared experiences for people of all ages.
There is also good news for the men. The Daddy’s Corner will once again be available, offering a variety of drinks and food options reserved for men, including well grilled pork.
Music remains a major highlight of the event. Music duo DopeNation, known for their energetic party anthems, are expected to deliver a high energy performance. Their catalogue includes popular songs such as Zormizor, Gbohe, Gboza, Naami, Thank God and Zanku, which appeal to a wide audience.
They will be joined by highlife artiste Kwabena Kwabena, who is marking 20 years in the music industry. His remix of Aso has become one of the new jams in town, attracting positive reviews. Widely regarded as the toast of parties, he is known for a versatile repertoire that caters to different audiences. He has promised patrons a uniquely curated experience at this year’s gathering.
Also billed for the event is the Kwan Pa Band, which will treat patrons to rich palmwine music. The group has built a strong reputation over the years for keeping audiences entertained for long periods with engaging performances.
The rate for this year’s Joy FM Family Party in the Park is 300 cedis for a family of six. Tickets are available at the front desk of Joy FM, via MoMo on 0593038842 or through the short code *725*3404#.
The Joy FM Family Party in the Park is powered by Ecobank and sponsored by Gino, Frytol, Jamaa Detergent Powder, M Ticket, Anomansa Beach Resort Elmina, and Doormaster.
Other sponsors are Koa Natural Juice, Ayuda, Club Beer and Enterprise Life.
