A young business mogul, Dr Emmanuel Kojo Jones-Mensah has assured women and the youth in the Keta Constituency of an empowerment scheme to help them become financially independent.
Dr Jones-Mensah said this when he submitted the needed documents to contest the Keta Constituency primaries of the National Democratic Congress.
He said that his goal is to give women in the Keta Constituency a voice and representation. He noted that it is important to have women empowered and youth given the necessary support in their fields of endeavour.

The businessman noted that giving women the necessary support and representation means giving them the love and care they rightly deserve to help them stand up for themselves and each other.
“My aim is to help get the women and youths in the Keta Constituency empowered and get good jobs as well as the requisite skills. The youth of Keta should keep cool and wait as I avail my plans for them," Dr Jones-Mensah said.
He noted that, one of the challenges confronting Keta Constituency has to do with bad roads, and promised to make it a thing of the past with good roads that he has already started lobbying for the constituency.
With regard to sports, Dr Kojo Jones-Mensah noted that plans are far advanced to improve on the Keta beach soccer and football to help the youth who are into sports occupy and be resourceful as well.

He also said they are working on collaborating with some sporting agencies to see how they can help the Constituency in sporting activities.
Dr Kojo Jones-Mensah also promised to set up a welfare fund and scheme for the executives to help them in times of need.
