Eleven-year-old primary six pupil of Gloryvel School in Kumasi has won the maiden edition of the Luv Fm Kiddie Quiz organized by The Multimedia Group in the Ashanti Region.
Mary-Ann Odoom beat her close contender, Russel Tom Tottoe, a class five pupil of Martyrs of Uganda School with just two points to take the trophy.
Emmanuella Amissaba Nhyiraba Cromwell of the Nagies Angels school in Kumasi took the bronze.
The contest which lasted close to one month started with the audition of over 50 children.


16 contestants were selected to go through the three-round contest in spelling, grammar, general knowledge, lucky letters and word formation, acronyms among others.
From July 4, the contest went through the preliminaries to the quarter, semi-finals and the finals on Saturday.
In the end, it came to contest favourites, Russell Tom Totoe and Mary-Ann Odoom, both pupils of Martyrs of Uganda and Gloryvel School respectively.



With just two points, Mary-Ann Odoom triumphed as winner of the maiden edition of the LUV FM KIDDIE QUIZ.
Third and fourth place, Emmanuela Amissaba Nhyiraba Cromwell and Lynnette Anima Asare spoke to Luv News.

The Luv Fm Kiddie Quiz, the brain-child of Luv 99.5 FM was organized to give children an opportunity to learn in this Covid-19 era.
