Black Stars Head Coach Otto Addo has expressed his disappointment with the team for conceding "cheap goals" in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
Ghana let in a late goal on Monday when Oumar Sako capitalised on a loose ball in the 18-yard box to secure a point for Niger.
The result means Ghana have just one point from their opening two games of the qualifiers, following a 1-0 defeat to Angola in Kumasi.
"Very disappointed with the way we allow goals [to go in]. We had a quite cheap goal against Angola and now again [against Niger]," Addo said.
"We have to be on our toes to defend these situations better."
Ghana will face a double-header against Sudan in their next qualifiers in October as the Black Stars hope to return to winning ways.
"It will be difficult again [Sudan]. For us it will be a crucial match. We have to win.
"There is no way around that. If we want to qualify for the AFCON, we have to win. We are under pressure. It is still in our own hands but we have to win the next game."
