Twenty-four basic schools in the Ashanti Region have progressed to the quarterfinal stage of the 2026 Luv FM Vitamilk Primary Schools Quiz after a competitive preliminary round.
The seventh edition of the competition, organised by Luv FM, began on February 23, 2026, with 36 primary schools from across the region participating.
Over several weeks, contestants demonstrated impressive academic ability and confidence as they competed in a series of preliminary contests to secure a place in the next stage.

In total, 24 teams qualified for the quarterfinals after emerging from 12 preliminary contests. Each contest featured three schools represented by two students who competed in three main rounds: a spelling bee, a general knowledge segment and a section focused on Ghanaian culture.
The final stage of each contest tested participants with five challenging questions, after which the lowest-scoring school was eliminated while the top two teams progressed.
The schools that have qualified for the quarterfinal stage include Divine Grace Preparatory School, God Reign Academy of Excellence, Peniel Academy, Unique Joy Academy, Manner International School, Jesus Power School, Jesus Grace Academy, Supreme Montessori School, Diamond Link Academy, Star House Educational Complex, Divine Mission Academy, Nightingale Educational Complex, Happy Royal International and Adventist Academy.

Others are Elysian International School, Dolphines School Complex, Jamasi Presby Primary, International English School, Aimil Community School, Precious International School, Ashanti Pride Educational Complex, Bosomtwe STEM Academy, Matta Devi School and Crossway Educational Complex.
Reigning champions Matta Devi School delivered a standout performance during the preliminary stage, recording the highest score of 59 points among the quarterfinalists.

The quarterfinal stage of the competition will be broadcast live on Joy Learning, Luv FM and across various social media platforms from 2:00 pm starting Monday, March 16, 2026.
The 2026 edition of the quiz is sponsored by several organisations, including Vitamilk, Cowbell, Twisco, Wintiz Special Gari Mix, Amansie Rural Bank Plc, Bigoo, Verna Mineral Water, Orion Sirus Publications, Best Brain Publications, Bright Future Publications, Ultimate Fashion, Royal Mental Arithmetic System (Royalmas) and Eselali Empire.
The competition continues to serve as a platform to promote academic excellence and healthy intellectual competition among primary school pupils across the Ashanti Region.
