An early morning fire has destroyed three wooden structures and a metal container at Klu-Town, opposite the EP Church in Koforidua.
The blaze, which broke out around 5:30 a.m., spread quickly before firefighters from the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) arrived to contain it.
Under the command of ADO I Sagoe, the crew managed to prevent the flames from extending to nearby houses and shops.

The fire was brought under control shortly before 7 a.m. and completely extinguished by 8:04 a.m.
No casualties were reported, though several valuable items were lost.

GNFS has launched investigations to determine the cause of the incident.
