Dr Prince Pambo has gone into the history books as the first Ghanaian to serve as a Venue Medical Officer for an Africa Cup of Nations tournament.
The University of Nottingham trained Sports and Exercise Medicine physician is the first Ghanaian Doctor on the CAF Medical committee and one of the six doctors for the 2019 Nations Cup in Egypt.
Pambo will be in charge of the Suez venue where Group E teams Tunisia, Mali, Angola and Mauritania will be based.
He will take charge of all medical issues (emergency medical service and doping Control)
Pambo is a member of the Ghana Football Association Medical team and served as a doctor for many national teams.
In the area of academia, he has been actively involved in developing a curriculum for Sports and Rehabilitation Medicine Fellowship Training at the Ghana College of Physicians and Surgeons.
