The Chief drummer for the national team has criticised Ghanaians for showing little support for the Black Stars in the 2019 African Cup of Nations.
In an interview on EWITHBECKS on Joy Prime on MultiTV, Joseph Langabel said the apathy for the team is one of the reasons why Ghana has not won the cup over three decades.
“Ghanaians are not supportive. We don’t like each other, we are always backbiting and saying negative things about the team. How can we win with this attitude?” he quizzed.
The Black Stars are on a difficult journey of trying to win the African Cup of Nations just like 23 other teams but could face an early exit if they lose to Guinea Bissau in Tuesday’s Group F match.
However, Langabel who is with the team in Egypt is confident the trophy will come to Ghana this year after 37 years wait.
