JoyNews photojournalist, David Andoh bagged three honours at Ghana Environmental Excellence Award (GEEA) 2019.
The versatile reporter with over two decades experience was awarded the Clean-up Environmental Media Personality Award, the President's Environmental Award and the Osagyefo Dr Kwame Nkrumah Environmental Award.

CEO of the GEEA, Prof. Emmanuel Yao Nash said the awards given to Mr. Andoh are based on months of observing the reporter’s work.
We didn’t just pick him and gave him the honours, he said, adding that his campaign against filth in the city earned him the three awards.
The event held at the Accra City Hotel on Saturday night also saw JoyNews being honoured with the Environmental Communication Award.

The honour comes at amidst JoyNews’ JoyCleanGhana campaign.
The campaign is in partnership with the Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA) and seeks to rid the city and Ghana as a whole of filth.
Some food vendors operating under unsanitary conditions have been indicted by the campaign.
