Global ICT Leader, Huawei Technologies has launched its latest Huawei Y9s in Accra.
The mid-range smartphone for young consumers is equipped with an AI triple camera setup comprising a 48 mega pixel (MP) main camera, an ultra-wide-angle lens, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, as well as 6 GB RAM and 128 GB ROM.
It runs on the Android operating system and comes in two colours: Breathing Crystal and Midnight Black.
Speaking at the launch, the Country Manager for Huawei, Simon Liu, said the company offers the best value-for-money mobile devices, giving its customers flagship features and specifications for mid-range prices.
The launch which took place at Huawei’s Regional Office was attended by media practitioners, social media influencers, other guests and staff of Huawei.
Dennis Fixon Laryea, Marketing Manager of Huawei Ghana, indicated that with Huawei Y9s, customers should expect a big camera, a 48MP Triple AI rear camera, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a big memory, 128GB and a new elegant design for a mid-ranger.
The device is retailing at GHS1,499, and a pre-order can be done between November 22 and 28.
A Pre-order of the Huawei Y9s comes with a free Gift Box, Bluetooth and Speaker.

The company is also the world’s leader in 5G mobile and wireless communications technology.
