The national Democratic Congress’ (NDC) Parliamentary Candidate for Madina, Francis-Xavier Sosu, has urged the Christian community in the area to vote for people with the fear of God.
According to the private legal practitioner, people who fear God are more likely to lead with love and compassion when voted into public offices.
“There is no authority except the one established by God. But people who do not fear God and are in leadership are only a source of pain and suffering to the people. This is why the Bible says when the righteous rules there is prosperity and rejoicing,” he said when he visited various churches in Madina on Sunday, February 23, 2020.
The human rights and public interest lawyer further stated: “I am willing to serve you in the fear of God when you vote for me come 7th December 2020 by God’s grace.”
Lawyer Sosu through his interactions, has been promising youth empowerment through job creation, social interventions, infrastructural developments and quality parliamentary representation.
He visited three Churches, two funerals grounds, two traditional marriages and three other community gatherings in Adentan West, Madina No1, Adoteiman and Pantang Village.
