Lucozade Ghana has supported the Eid celebrations with 1200 servings of their number one recovery Glucose drink, Lucozade.
This was in a donation to the National Chief Imam, Sheikh Osman Nuhu Sharubutu during the festivities.
The donation is to help the many individuals who may fall on the office of the National Chief Imam during the celebration.
“Lucozade is a renowned recovery drink, and as we celebrate Eid, we believe our donation will help many more recover and restore energies spent during the month of sacrifice and fasting” Mensah Seneadza, Country Manager of Lucozade Ghana said.
Mr. Seneadza also seized the opportunity to encourage all to continue to live in harmony while observing the Covid-19 protocols established by authorities.
“As we celebrate Eid in such a difficult time, we believe that if we keep our faith and observe established protocols to stem the spread of the Covid-19 disease, we will definitely overcome”.
Receiving the items, the Spokesperson of the National Chief Imam, Sheikh Aremeyaw Shaibu expressed appreciation and encouraged the business to forge ahead in unity despite the difficult times we find ourselves.
He said, “I pray for your business to grow and advance. I pray for unity for your internal management. We also pray to God for Him to cleanse us of this pandemic – Covid 19.”
Aside from the donation to the Office of the National Chief Imam, Lucozade Ghana has been supporting various endeavours to ensure a safe and healthy environment for all its stakeholders.
The business early this year organized a clean-up exercise at the Osu beach as well as supported government's fight against Covid-19 with a donation to the military personnel.
