Leader of Christ Apostolic Church International in the Juaboso districts of the Western North Region says Covid-19 pandemic has taught the Christians across the world an unforgettable lesson.
Francis Nyarko in an interview with Adom News said the virus has shown Christians the importance of the Holy Communion and the unison of worship.
“We have been home for a long time, due to that congregants will come in their numbers as time goes on,” he said.
Adding that, “This virus has shown that God is indeed God, and all powers belong to Him. So people should use this situation to turn over a new leaf including some Christians.”
His comment follows a three months ban imposed on all social gathering including church services by President Nana Akufo-Addo in March.
According to the President, it was a necessary measure to curb the spread of coronavirus in the country.
But in the 10th televised address to the nation on Covid-19, President Akufo-Addo eased the restriction imposed on churches and mosques adding that up to 100 congregants can worship at a time for an hour.
On the part of some congregants, they expressed mixed reactions to the new directive.
For some, they enjoyed the service but for others, the routine was new to them and it would take time to adjust.
