The New Patriotic Party’s highest decision-making body, the National Executive Council (NEC) has publicised the names of all Parliamentary aspirants cleared to contest in its upcoming primaries.
This follows the expression of dissatisfaction by some party delegates over the disqualification of some aspirants.
Some disgruntled members resorted to cursing the leadership of the party.
Such persons John Boadu, the General Secretary of the party announced at a press conference on Monday are to be suspended.
He said the party will no longer tolerate such “crass behaviour” from its members.
“We will make sure that our rules and regulations, particularly our disciplinary measures are instituted to instill discipline in our party,” he said.
