Black Stars head coach, Charles Kwablan Akonnor, has stated his team lacked organisation which led to their defeat against Mali last Friday.
Black Stars suffered a 3-0 defeat against the Eagles in Akonnor's first game since taking charge of the team in January.
After the friendly encounter, Akonnor granted an interview to Adom TV and cited organisation as the main problem of the side.
"The players didn't know themselves because most of them were debutantes. It's also the first time they're playing together, we trained for only two days and there was a lack of understanding as well," he said.
"I won't blame the players, but the key thing was that the team was not organised. Mali didn't play anything extraordinary but they were organized; that handed them the victory."
Akonnor will be in the dugout on Monday when Black Stars play their second friendly against Asian champions, Qatar.
The friendly games form part preparation for next month's Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Sudan.
