Shatta Wale has denied reports he was attacked at Krofrom in the Ashanti Region when he visited the town as part of his Kumerica Invasion tour.
Taking to Facebook to react to the news, the dancehall artiste said he recently wrapped up a video shoot in the area.
“Still in Kumerica having fun as usual and the unhappy ones are saying I was attacked, for what? If I may ask?” Shatta Wale wrote.
His reaction comes after a viral video showed some young men insulting the dancehall artiste.
According to reports, the group of young men, who are affiliated to the late musician Junior US, were unhappy Shatta Wale had not attended the funeral of the artiste he was once friends with.
The group had supposedly warned the 'Melissa' hitmaker to stay away from Krofrom prior to his tour.
However, Shatta Wale said he wrapped up the shoot successfully adding that people are more focused on negative news.
