Former Special Prosecutor Martin Alamisi Amidu has responded to comments from the Office of the President after accepting his resignation.
In a detailed document, he expressed disbelief at the decision by President Nana Akufo-Addo to respond to his resignation letter through his Secretary, Nana Bediatuo Asante.
"I am therefore surprised that H.E. the President directed you to write to me after my resignation from office and his acceptance of same instead of responding in a statement to the people of Ghana," the document read.
This follow his first interview after he left the post where he revealed there have been several threats targeted at him.
His decision to leave the office was met with mixed reactions by social commentators and the public.
