Three passengers are in critical condition at the Winneba Trauma Centre while many people have also sustained various degrees of injuries after a ghastly accident, Thursday.
This was after the commercial vehicle they were travelling on, was involved in a head-on collision at Gomoa Akotsi on the Kasoa Cape Cape Coast Highway in the Central Region.
The accident occurred between a sprinter Benz Bus with registration number GX 6333-20 and Hyundai passengers car with the registration number GG-2647-16.

Narrating what happened to Adom News, an eyewitness said the driver of the sprinter Benz bus tried to overtake a vehicle in front on him.
In the process, it collided with an oncoming Hyundai commercial vehicle travelling to Gomoa Akotsi from Kasoa.
The eyewitness said a lot of the people at the scene were in tears because of the degree of injuries sustained by the victims, especially three of the passengers.
He said all of them have been rushed to Winneba Trauma and Specialist Hospital for treatment.
