Ghana defender Joseph Aidoo has revealed that playing for Bayern Munich is a long term dream of his.
The 25-year-old Celta Vigo center back has participated in 18 games this season, starting in nine of them this season.
In an interview with Joy Sports’ Owuraku Ampofo, Aidoo attributed his admiration for the German giants to former Bayern Munich defender, Sammy Kuffour who also for the Black Stars.
“I chose Sammy Kuffour as my mentor because for me, I think I will be playing for Bayern Munich in future and he has been there, and that is why I am always looking up to him and he has made a good impact on the football world. When I was a kid, Bayern was the club that touched my heart and that is why I admire them,” he said.
Although Aidoo is a Celta Vigo player, that hasn't stopped him from following the games of his dream club.
“I do watch their [Bayern Munich] games and even sometimes I go to their website to watch some clips and stuff,” he concluded.
Aidoo joined Celta Vigo on July 11, 2019 in a five-year contract for a fee of €8 million.
