The National Road Safety Authority (NRSA) has petitioned the Motor Traffic and Transport Department (MTTD) to investigate a vehicle that was reported to have broken traffic regulations on Thursday, April 15.
This comes after Joy FM posted the video of the Toyota Cross Country vehicle with registration number GM 2152-16.
The driver had moved to another side lane of the road facing oncoming traffic and drove towards Giffard Road in Accra.

The NRSA in the letter to the MTTD Director-General stated that their preliminary investigation revealed the car belongs to the Ghana Cocoa Board.
“The authority considers the conduct of the driver as a threat to public safety and respectfully requests and investigation and further action.”
The letter signed by the Head of Regulations, Inspection and Compliance at the NSRA, Kwame Kodua Atuahene, stated that the Authority was counting on the support of the MTTD to build a culture of responsible road user behaviour.
