A 29-year-old man, Kwadwo Japong has been convicted of robbery by the Juaso Circuit Court.
He is to serve two years in prison for stealing a 21-inch Guda Television set valued ₵550 and one Q box decoder worth ₵150.
During the hearing, Kwadwo Japong pleaded guilty to the charges levelled against him.
According to Chief Inspector Peasah Birikorang, the culprit on April 30 broke into the house of one Akosua Appiah and made away with a TV set and a decoder at Dampong.
Judge Nana Asantewaa Atakora who sat for the case raised concerns over the youth's decision to engage in robbery owing to his inability to work hard.
