Principal speaker for Prempeh College dazzled the judges as he led his team to win a semi-final slot in the ongoing Luv FM High School Debate.
Christian Kwame Adjapong was crowned best debater for the day as his side beat Presbyterian SHS Kwamang in the last quarter-final contest.
Prempeh College moved their supporting speaker, Christian Kwame Adjapong, to the Principal Speaker position and he put up an impressive performance.
Speaking for the motion; "Academic examination not a true test of intelligence", Prempeh beat Kwamang Presby, 245-214.
The day also saw the pride of Mampong Ashanti, St. Monica's SHS booking a place in the semi-finals.
It was hard luck for the two remaining Presby schools in the competition, as Presby Bompata also lost to St. Monica's SHS.
The final score was 251-215 against the motion; "Our taxes commensurate the level of development in our country."
The losing schools received certificates of participation and gift vouchers for shopping at MELCOM.
St. Monica's will take on Prempeh College, while Opoku Ware School will clash with Adventist Girls in the Semi-finals.
