The Ghana Health Service (GHS) has recorded 11 more deaths in the country's fight against the Covid-19 pandemic.
This brings the total number of deaths recorded to 1,047.
In its latest update, data provided by the GHS revealed that as of August 29, about 6,857 active cases were recorded in all 16 regions in the country.
Out of the total active cases, 147 patients are in severe condition while 60 other cases are critical.
Again as of August 27, active cases stood at 7,151.

Also, two hundred and seven new cases were recorded by the Ghana Health Service.
These additional cases recorded brings the total confirmed Covid-19 cases to 120,003.
So far, 112,099 individuals who tested positive for the virus have recovered. They have been discharged from the health facilities.
Meanwhile, government on Thursday, September 2, received 244,800 more doses of the Johnson & Johnson Covid-19 vaccines through the African Vaccine Acquisition Trust (AVAT).
