There has been a decline in the number of Covid-19 active cases recorded in the country.
In its latest update, the Ghana Health Service (GHS) as of September 4, recorded 6,135 active cases. This is as against 6,539 cases recorded on September 3.
Fifty of the current cases recorded are critical while 126 others are regarded as severe.
Also, the GHS recorded 206 new cases. The new cases have also been on the decline. In its previous update on its website, the Service recorded 420 new cases.

This brings the total number of confirmed cases to 122,363. Out of this figure, 115,145 individuals who tested positive for the virus in local communities and the Kotoka International Airport have recovered, thus have been discharged.
Fortunately, the Ghana Health Service recorded no casualties in its recent update. The country's death toll still stands at 1,083.
