The Ghana Health Service (GHS) has recorded five more deaths in the country's fight against the Covid-19 pandemic.
These casualties recorded within 24 hours bring the total death toll to 1,130.
According to the GHS in its recent update, about 4,269 active cases were recorded in all 16 regions in the country as of September 17.
There has been a decrease in active cases recorded in the latest update. As of September 16, about 4,295 active cases were recorded.

Currently, 119 individuals who tested positive for the virus are in severe condition whiles 42 others are in a critical state.
Also, new cases recorded stand at 265. Six out of 16 regions and the Kotoka International Airport (KIA) recorded new cases.
Meanwhile, the country's total confirmed cases is 125,830. Out of this figure, 120,431 individuals have recovered, thus discharged from the various health facilities.
About 2,636 returnees at the KIA alone have been discharged.
