Nine more lives have been lost to the coronavirus disease according to the Ghana Health Service (GHS).
Within 48 hours, the total number of Covid-19 related deaths has risen to 1,139.
In its latest update, about 4,015 active cases have been recorded as of September 19.
Out of this figure, 120 cases are severe whereas 43 others are critical.

New cases recorded by the Ghana Health Service stand at 63. The number of new cases recorded has declined.
Despite the reduction in such cases, the total confirmed cases is 126,146.
Meanwhile, the GHS has discharged about 120,992 individuals who have recovered from the virus.
Also, the Service will on Friday commence vaccinating persons who have not been inoculated in the Greater Accra Regional Health Directorate.
The five-day exercise is expected to end on September 29.
