Seven people have died of Covid-19 since the Ghana Health Service's previous update on October 3.
According to GHS in its latest update, the country's death toll currently stands at 1,165.
As of October 11, the Service noted on its website that it has recorded a total of 2,492 active cases. There has also been a drop in active cases recorded. Previously, active cases stood at 2,696.
Out of current cases, some 109 individuals who contracted the virus are in severe condition whereas 39 other cases are said to be critical.
All 16 regions in the country are battling with active cases. The Greater Accra Region tops the chart with 1,614 cases.

Meanwhile, for new cases, the Ghana Health Service recorded 91 cases. This brings the total confirmed cases to 129,258.
On the other hand, 125,601 people who fell prey to the virus and recovered have been discharged from the various health facilities.
