Black Stars head coach, Milovan Rajevac has likened the current crop of players at his disposal to the squad he used in his first spell in charge of the national team.
The Serbian admitted although it is not an easy thing to compare both crop of players, the squad he inherited during his initial stint with the team was very strong despite the current team posing a lot of talents.
“It is not easy to compare but definitely the last generation was very strong and successful and, in this generation, I can see a lot of talents, many beautiful talents for the future so Ghanaians shouldn’t worry about the future of Ghana football,” the gaffer said.
“It is important to develop them well and as I said, this is just the beginning and it takes time to set up everything and to correct something’s and to make Ghana okay competitive football at the highest level.”
Rajevac was in the dugout during the 2010 Africa Cup of Nations in Angola as well as the 2010 World Cup in South Africa with the Black Stars finishing as runners up and quarter-finalists respectively in both tournaments.
