Head coach of the Black Stars, Milovan Rajevac has reiterated his willingness to give opportunities to home-based players in his second stint in charge of the team.
Milovan’s first call-up upon his return saw five home-based players being named, including; Danlad Ibrahim, Richard Atta, Philemon Baffour, Ismail Ganiyu and Abdul Fatawu Issahaku.
With several complains coming from football fanatics with regards to the home-based players not getting a chance to play, the coach has assured fans to give ‘every good player’ an opportunity.
“If you look at my previous spell here you will understand it is important to have strong players at every department in the team. Obviously, every good player will get an opportunity both home and abroad. Very soon the league will start and I will be keeping an eye on the players,” Milovan Rajevac said in an interview.
The 2021/22 Ghana Premier League season is expected to commence on October 29 and it will be an opportunity for some the players to grab the attention of the Black Stars technical staff.
