The people of Sekondi-Takoradi in the Western Region yesterday celebrated their annual masquerade carnival popularly known as the Ankos festival.
The opening ceremony of the 3-day event saw various masquerading clubs marching through the principal streets of the metropolis in their colorful costumes.
The event attracted thousands of visitors across the country including foreigners.
