Ghanaian highlife musician, Kuami Eugene has said that his upcoming concert at the O2 Arena with Kidi, implies the world has embraced their music.
The Lynx Entertainment signees will be performing at the Indigo at the O2 Arena in London on 6th March, 2022.
Speaking with Doreen Avio on Lets Talk Showbiz, the ‘Dollar on You’ hit singer said he feels excited about the upcoming performance.
“It’s special, because to be able to do that, it means you have been accepted somewhere, you are being loved and your music is actually listened to and as an artiste to have this, is what everybody is seeking for. That is what we are all fighting for. To be listened to and to have the opportunity to put your tickets out there for people to buy and enjoy. This is a blessing every musician is seeking for. I’m super excited about this,” he said.
Kuami Eugene has won the Highlife Artiste of the Year at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) on four occasions. He is also the 2020 VGMA Artiste of the Year.
KiDi is currently Vodafone Ghana Music Awards’ Afrobeats Artiste of the Year and has released hit singles like ‘Odo’, ‘Say Cheese’, ‘Enjoyment’ and ‘Touch It’ which went viral on Tik Tok.
