The Education Ministry last Thursday announced the introduction of a semester-based system in place of the trimester.
The decision sparked outrage among education stakeholders, who said they were not consulted before the policy was implemented.
Following stakeholder concerns, the Ministry was forced to reverse its decision to keep the trimester-based system in basic schools.
In this regard, the Minister of Education, Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum today provided an update on Education in Ghana and the way forward.
He also tackled and addressed issues in the Education sector.
