Nollywood actor, Jim Iyke, has opened up about his private life and the struggles he has hidden from the public's scrutinising eyes.
According to Jim Iyke, he was once married but the marriage failed. However, no one but the people close to him knew about it.
In an interview with Chude Jideonwo, he also revealed that he has three children he decided not to share with the world.
He explained that he does not fancy having the public eye on his private life despite his celebrity status, hence, his reason to not disclose some personal information and struggles.
"I’ve had a failed marriage that nobody knows about. I have three beautiful kids. I hate to be figured out, once you figure me out, I have nothing else to offer. So, that’s the potency in it; I refuse to be figured out or tamed," Jim Iyke said.
The actor noted that publicity has a way of interfering with his relationships.
"The person I want is not good in public, she is not as pretty and as flashy as they want her to be. Do you know how many relationships my manager destroyed?"
He also mentioned that at some point in his life, he cried because he failed in every business he started.
"For a long time, every business I involved myself failed woefully. I am expeditious in opening gates (but) I don't know how to man the gates," he said of his failure to successfully grow his business.
