The center back has played out his whole career so far in France and started with Bastia where he spent three years making 45 Ligue 1 appearances.
He joined Caen for two seasons after Bastia were relegated from the French top division. Caen went down in 2019 and that's when Strasbourg snapped up the 27-year-old.
Djiku has been on a steady rise at Strasbourg, who are pushing for a European place this season.
He naturalised for Ghana in 2020 and has since gone on to make 15 appearances for the Black Stars.
