The Motor Traffic and Transport Department (MTTD) of the Police Service has made provisions to ensure effective management of traffic ahead of the World Cup Qualifiers between the Ghana Black Stars and the Super Eagles of Nigeria.
At the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, a number of roads will be blocked to ensure free traffic flow.
They include; Britania - Is My Kitchen Restaurant stretch on the north of the stadium, Is My Kitchen Restaurant - Stadium Hotel Stretch on the eastern side, Amankwaatia School - TI Ahamadiya School on the south and the Britania - TI Ahamadiya School on the western side.

This forms part of security measures put in place by the Police have put in place for the coverage of the game slated for Friday.
According to the Police, "there will be an additional deployment of Highway and Motorbike patrols to augment the existing security deployment along all the eight entry routes into Kumasi and other adjoining regions."
Also, the Police in partnership with the National Security screen every individual who enters the stadium. This is to ensure that no offensive or lethal weapon into the stadium.

Meanwhile, the Police have urged members of the general public to adhere to the protocols put in place.
"We should all be guided by the traditional bond of friendship between Ghana and Nigeria and ensure that the outcome of this match does not mar the beauty of our collective security."
