The Minority in Parliament addressed the press on the passage of the Electronic Transaction levy (E-levy) Bill while its members had walked out of the House.
On Tuesday afternoon, the Minority members walked out of the chamber after Minority Leader, Haruna Iddrisu, reiterated that the levy will have an adverse effect on businesses and worsen the plight of individuals.
Meanwhile, the E-levy Bill has been passed by Parliament at the rate of 1.5% pending Presidential assent.
