Former President John Mahama on Friday joined well-wishers, family and mourners at a one-week commemorative service for the late Mrs Emily Akuffo.
The deceased was the wife of a former Head of State, Lt. General Fred Akuffo (also deceased) who led the Supreme Military Council between 1978 and 1979.
The one week service was held at the Presbyterian Church of Ghana (Christ Church) at Akropong in the Eastern Region.
Accompanying the former President was former Chief of Staff Julius Debrah, National Chairman Samuel Ofosu Ampofo, National Youth Organiser George Opare Addo and a former High Commissioner Victor Smith.
