Prospective homeowners and businesses have been urged to invest in security to protect their investments and prevent unforeseen circumstances.
According to the Director of Operations of Virtual Security Africa, Bondzie Acquah, security systems are necessary to deter burglars from entering properties and to safeguard assets at all times.
The company has developed a reputation for being one of the country’s most innovative designers, developers, installers and integrators of advanced security and safety hardware, software and peripheral products for homes, financial institutions, corporate organisations, government, military and enterprises.
Speaking to David Akuetteh on 'Luv in the Morning', Mr Acquah said improved security of homes and organizations will enhance capabilities and resilience against burglars.
“The key thing when warding off criminals is deterrence. That is the first line of action. That is why you need the perimeter protection system. It comes in the form of a barbed wire or an electric fence. These things are needed, and it works. They also come with a siren to deter.
“But mostly when people put these things in place, they forget there are systems that need to be maintained and managed. That is how you hear stories of people’s homes being burgled. Though they may have alarms or electric fence systems,” he advised.

Virtual Security Africa will be exhibiting an array of security solutions to patrons of the Luv FM Habitat Fair, taking place at the Kumasi City Mall from September 30 to October 2, 2022.
“At the fair, we will have all our products set up. We will also demonstrate it to patrons who come for the Luv FM Habitat Fair. We have the fire alarm, the intrusion alarm, electric fence, CCTV, and access control among others. We are also offering patrons huge discounts. We are also offering you flexible payment terms,” said Mr Acquah.
