The new Mini Series of Joy FM’s Family Pop Quiz is only two weeks old, yet has given both listeners and contestants an exciting experience. Already, three contestants have progressed to the grande finale scheduled for November 6.
Fourteen-year old Akorsah is the third to qualify for the finals. He exhibited the depth of his knowledge with enthusiasm in last Sunday’s edition of the show. The 2nd episode was hosted by Programs Manager of Joy FM, Edem Knight-Tay on Joy 99.7 FM.

Akorsah crusied to victory with 33 and half points, while 1st runner-up Elisa, finished the contest with 29 and half points. They both answered questions on English Language, Mathematics, Science and Social Studies.
Similar to other kids’ expectations, Akorsah has his eyes on the prize, and can’t wait to have fun this December. He joins Karen and Akua, both of whom emerged finalists after a fiercely contested maiden edition of the Mini-Series.
Organisers of the Joy FM Family Pop Quiz Mini-Series will fly its ultimate winner to Singapore in an all-expense paid educational and fun trip on December 2. On the list of exciting activities lined up for the winner include, an adventurous visit to Disney, a robotics workshop, gala dinner with children from other countries, the Young Achievers Leadership Academy (YALA) Camp 2022, to mention a few.

The journey to November 6 gets ever exciting as the third episode of the show beckons. Join us to find out how it all pans out on Sunday, October 23, on Joy 99.7 FM and via Facebook, from 3pm to 4pm. The Joy FM Family Pop Quiz Mini Series is sponsored by the Ghana Olympiad Academy.
